GALF
The GALF committee will focus on McGill’s Global Access Licensing Principles, a set of commitments made by McGill to increase the accessibility of its patented medicines worldwide. Given critical issues in access to medicines worldwide, it is key to ensure that McGill has implemented these principles in an effective manner.
Goals
Ensure that McGill University continues to abide by the global access licensing agreement they agreed to in 2019. To do this, we will aim to get the university to publish the progress reports from 2020, 2021, and 2022, as required by the original agreement.
Achievements
Worked with the McGill technology transfer office to agree to a licensing agreement to increase the accessibility of medicines discovered at McGill across the world.
